When people see the price gouging on a current release, they think, "Boy, I don't want to pay that. I better buy it RIGHT AWAY next time." The pre-orders sell out much quicker when buyers fear price gouging (or want to profit off of it). Either way, you sell more games, faster. |

They replied saying the game company wanted people to buy as many as they'd like. |
