TDIRunner:

I'm really happy to see that someone is doing this.  Unfortunately for me there are two reasons why I'm probably not interested:
  •   The price is a little too high.  I DON'T believe you are being greedy.  I understand that's just part of the 3D printing business, but it's still too much for me.
  •   I was hoping for an insert that would go inside of a clear CD jewel case.  That way, you can print out an insert for the back part of the case like you would for a PS1 or DC game.  I know that original PCE games used stickers they way you are, but I would still prefer to use a printed insert.

I'll still think about it.  I don't have many games, and I don't see my PCE collection getting much bigger in the future, so I wouldn't need many.  Thank you for posting this here.  Good luck with your project.

Over the summer, I'll probably explore the idea more. I just don't have time at the moment. My idea was same as TDIRunner, jewel cases with inserts.

pcenginefx:

No problem guys and thanks for the understanding on the prices.  With any passion project, hundreds of hours were invested perfecting the design and since each case takes ~2hours to print I need to make up at least a little bit of my manufacturing cost as well as making it worth my time and effort.  I'm not a mass-producer of these by any means unlike other users which can produce thousands of cases in bulk, so this obviously affects pricing.

My first backlog of orders have arrived to users on the Pcenginefx.com forum and they have been posting up their feedback and personal photos of the cases.  I'm happy to say that everyone is 100% satisfied :)

I may perhaps look into an insert-style HuCard case design next, but with stuff like this I'll have to find the time to work on it.
