Sega Saturn Original Cases or Print?

I guess both have their benefits. The long boxes are fragile, but have that distinctive classic look. But hey the DVD ones look pretty good and perhaps should have been designed that way from the start. Sure, the long boxes give Saturn games that distinctive look, but I don't know if I'd want my other systems to have long boxes.

My Saturn collection is all CIB. Not that I really tried to do it like that, just got lucky I guess.
Same thing with my Sega CD for the most part except for like 1 or 2 games that's disc only.

@the7k. I have a Dragon Force cover in my box.net

I have 2 Saturn games, one in a DVD case (Dragon Force) and one in a long box (Tomb Raider)

I'm in the middle. I'm leaning to the DVD case, Saturn games are expensive and buying loose CDs can save me some money, and shelf space, though I do like the long boxes.

Hmmm

I think the art looks amazing in those long jewel box cases. But CIB Saturn collecting is quite a challenge to do on the cheap. I pretty much stopped buying Saturn games about 6 months ago.  Luckily I snagged a lot of the key titles over the past few years.

Kind of re-thinking keeping my collection out on display with a 1 1/2 year old at home.  Might just burn everything, put it in DVD cases and hide the real games.  My son ejected one of my PS3 games from the system and had the game for like 2 minutes.  It looked like it was put through a meat grinder.  I could only imagine the horror that would happen to my 40 cib saturn games if he was left to his own devices with them.

That's funny.  I'm in the opposite boat.  I'm slowly buying up spare long box cases so that I can transfer all of my Sega CD and Saturn games from DVD to their original cases.  It's not easy. :-\ but I'm almost there. 8)

I was going to stick with the long boxes but they're so fragile. I think out of all of them only 2 are in good condition.
