Design a completely original UGC cover for the Sega Master System
In my opinion, the Sega Master System has the worst cover scheme of any system ever released! I've often asked myself what I'd do if I were given the opportunity to design the template that would be used for Master System covers. However, I decided it would be more fun to give Cover Project members that opportunity. So, imagine you've been transported in time to 1986 (or 1987 if you live in Europe) and you've been given the task of designing the cover used for marketing the Sega Master System.

Time
This contest will be held between November 7th, 2014 and November 30th, 2014. The winner will be announce on December 1st!!!

Rules
• Designs must be original! Designs can not recycle the grid or elements from the Master System or any other console released by SEGA with a few exceptions; the Master System LOGO, SEGA LOGO's and the artwork can be used.
• Pixel Dimensions must be 3366 X 2100 @ 300dpi

Region
Any region is welcome!

Where do I post my submission?
Just submit your cover on this thread! You can use any game released for the Sega Master System to represent your cover. Only one submission per person!

Prize
The winner will get to select one of two games; a factory sealed copy of CAPCOM CLASSICS COLLECTION VOLUME 2 for Xbox or Catherine for Xbox 360. Both games are NTSC.

I'm posting 3 pictures to show the whole scheme of my one submission. I will try to explain things also.

Blank Template: I really like the minimalist look personally. Not to much going on.


Template w/ example game info.
Game synopsis at the back top to get straight to the point.
I have one picture in the center of the back. It could also be snapshots of the game, or whatever you want it to be. I just chose the single picture because I liked it better.


Inlay (for those of you who like them)


If something looks wrong, please feel free to let me know. This is just kind of like a draft so yeah it may not be perfect.

Hi! I'm fairly new here, mostly a lurker, but I saw this and thought I might try.

I stuck with the colors of the console.
That Red line around the cover is based on the SEGA logo, but mostly the "S".

I made the Zillion logo based on the title screen in-game.
The image of JJ on the front and the Zillion Gun on the back are directly from screenshots of the game
