I'm relatively certain it would, yes.  As I understand it, these cables are essentially just RGB->YPbPr transcoders built into a standard, neat, professional-looking cable.

Thanks.
I emailed them about it but haven't gotten a response, though I'm sure they've got a lot on their hands. I know they mentioned an SNES Mini might work with some modification, so I wanted to clarify whether the modification denoted an RGB mod.

so these are plug n play? sweet! no need to mod for rgb?
Right. Both console's av ports output rgb already, there just hasn't been a cable that non-scart users can use.

Most consoles AV ports output RGB already.

SNES mini don't, SNES 1chips (which are essentially minis still in the normal sized case, they were the last revision of SNES) don't, and I believe but am not positive that Genesis 3's dont.

It's possible to mod the SNES to restore RGB, but just wanted to throw out there -- it's possible your SNES might not work with these out of the box.

Since 1chips and minis are better graphically does this mean that if modded for rgb it could look even better? I have 2 old style snes one with a serial number in 115's and one in 320's. Both have the same chip that says ba#### or bf####, I can't remember, as opposed to the s-enc. Does any of this matter?

http://retrorgb.com/snesversioncompare.html shows the differences, but they're hard to see.  Some people disagree on what he says, but in general you want a snes mini with RGB mod (It's simple).  If you have a 1chip snes it can do RGB but the quality will most likely suck unless you bypass the internal amp.

I'm not an expert so I really can't answer most of those questions, I've just done a bunch of homework in my day.  I just want to briefly address the "better graphically" though?  That's... not entirely cut and dry.  There's some absolutely exhaustive comparisons on Racketboy forums about the various differences, but the cliff notes work out as "1chip/mini is a bit brighter and more contrasty, but perhaps too much so to where it becomes overdriven"... one member put it best:  The development units that companies used when designing games were essentially the earliest units, so any change that comes later on means you're seeing something ever-so-slightly (because let's be fair, it's not a huge difference either way) different than what the game designer intended you to.

The 1chips were to SNES what the 3 is to Genesis.  Cost saving later models.

There's also a persistent rumor that certain games had glitches or behaved differently on 1chips/minis, but I'm unable to find any verified list of games so I think that's bunk, personally.

All that being said, if you like the way the 1chips/minis look?  Go for it!  God bless ya!  My shitty eyes don't really see a huge difference between my mini and my original model with the separate sound amp, so it's not a big deal for me.
