VIDEO GAMES THAT SAVE BY PASSWORD?

I always hated games with long passwords as I had super messy writing as a kid.

Metroid and river city ransom were the worst for me.

"Was that an S or a 5.  A zero or an O."

Now a days I just take a quick picture of the screen with my phone.

When you mentioned taking a picture with your phone, it reminded me that Top Gear 2 for SNES also uses a passowrd system.  I did the same thing.

Mega Man 7 and Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose both had passwords, though BBL only had passwords for Easy. Normal and Hard mode didn't have passwords.

I used different colored pens for those miserable passwords and still often screwed it up (thanks ADHD).

@ popcorn : are you sure that command and Conquer for ps1 saves by password?

Ps1 use memory card to save,  disc won't save

I don't know, as I said before it could have sacrificed that for another feature.

Also, can you please make it a rule that people should read if it is on the list before contributing? I can't look everyday because my time is consumed on weekdays, so maybe people would ACTUALLY LISTEN BEFORE THEY RUN THEIR MOUTHS AND MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK LIKE IDIOTS. I am done ranting now.

If it's on the list then it's on the list, just skip the post and move on...there really is no reason to get so upset over it.  Besides, you don't want to discourage people from contributing to the list (whether or not the game is already listed) by going on an angry rant like that :/

I just downloaded Demon's Crest on my Wii U and it gave me a password when I quit to the main menu. I never played it on SNES but I assume it was the same as these Virtual Console games are usually unaltered.

For a new member, you've certainly got some balls.  But let me tell you, you are walking a fine line right now.

We have no room for people with this attitude in the project.  Play nice or don't play at all.
