Playing through Alien Trilogy on the Sega Saturn right now, the game can save by both password and internal memory. Dunno if you were looking for games that can only save by password, though.

We got it already, though thank you for the contribution. ;D
Oh, I only saw it up there for the Super Nintendo.

I figured it needed a mention because, it being on the Saturn, one would expect (or at least I expected) it to have a save feature.

Yes, Sega Saturn version should go apart from SNES.

Thanks

If it has a password save option then it should be added   ;)

I don't know about Command and Conquer, but a lot of PS1 games have the option to save by password along with memory card.  It happened a lot with the release titles, because not everyone had memory cards right away.

Crash Bandicoot is one example.  I used the password system for about two weeks after first getting my PS1 before I bought my first memory card.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Oh, didn't knew that.

So, crash Bandicoot is another game that should be added to the list. :P ::)

Thanks ;D

Im going to ask you to look at what we already have before contributing

Really?  You're going to ask me that?

I'm going to politely ask you, once, to look at your own ridiculous triple/quadruple posts on other threads before you take a tone like that with an admin (or anyone else!)

Removed from the list

Thanks  ;)

I remember playing Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania when I was a little kid with my brother but I didn't remember if they had that password option

SNES Lord of the rings was a password one. My mother noticed a pattern back in the day and figured out what made everyone's level high and where they were in the game.

Filling a notebook with passwords and cheat codes is one of the few pre-internet memories that I have left.

Genesis:
Tiny Toons: Buster's Hidden Treasure (bad case of long passworditis)
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures
World of Illusion
Animaniacs (uses a tile grid system)

Game Gear:
Aladdin

NES:
Bubble Bobble

GBC:
Turok 3

PS1:
Tetris Plus (99% sure the puzzle mode can use passwords)

DOS:
Lemmings

Sega Genesis
sonic & knuckles with sonic 1 attached.  (Hundreds and hundreds of those 3d bonus stages lol, you'd need a whole notebook for all of the passcodes)

And practically any other genesis game attachad to sonic and knuckles let's you play 1 3d bonus stage.
