I made a cover for Galaxian using the raws kindly uploaded by robbievgb. I'm considering submitting it for inclusion on the main site, but would like feedback as to improvements I should make before I do so. Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Looks pretty spot on with the exception of the UPC not being present but I'm not 100% sure on site standards (I just scan stuff) . Maybe try posting in the Artist's Corner -> Universal Game Cases? You might get some more visibility/ responses there.

Oh shoot, don't know how I missed the bar code! I'll fix it today and reupload the cover. Thanks, robbie!

EDIT: UPC has now been added to cover.

Quick Update, I have a lot more scanned that I still need to categorize.

I just got back from Japan and have a ton of stuff from there to scan but I'm thinking before I start that stuff, I might re-do the first page of the thread to link to each individual scan (back, front, etc.) since it's way out of date and a few scans I've acquired better copies of. I keep saying I'm gonna quit, but I always end up finding something that isn't here already. =)

Hey Robbie - these scans are awesome.

Any chance I could get a zip or a torrent of all the 2600 stuff?  Would like to work on these for the site.

Cheers

I dropped a zip file in the 2600 folder, let me know if you have trouble finding it.

I know you usually like to put the Atari logo on your third party covers, if I could request when you do make cover for these to also do. Versions without the Atari logo so they match my other third party boxes, I'd appreciate it :).

Just realized that it's closing in on the 4th Anniversary of this thread (and me doing scans apparently), and that's simply crazy to think about.

I do want to go back and reorganize the first post to link directly to each scanned asset, similar to how I've seen in other threads. I honestly hadn't thought it would ever get so large, and scrolling through the list in my MediaFire account is starting to feel daunting even for me.

I have all of the games from my trip to Japan last summer all finally scanned so I plan on posting those once I get the main thread re-organized.

After that I have a pretty decent stack of pre-crash stuff to get through, mostly Atari with some Colecovision & Intellivision sprinkled in.

Hi Robbievgb's!
Your collection is great and your scans are amazing!
I wonder if I could scan the following cover:
Please?

Saturday Night Speedway (PS2)

I would really be very helpful to me and I would be very grateful.
Thanks!

Slowly working through re-uploading my scans with some more consistent naming and modifying the main post with links directly to each asset rather than just the folder.

I wrote myself a python script to parse through my scans and generate the text lists with assets, which facilitated cleaning up some naming conventions that I had been inconsistent about, but looks like I will have to manually add the MediaFire URLs, as those URLs seem to be randomly generated and MediaFire isn't handing out API keys anymore (if anyone has suggestions on automating that piece I'm open to them!).

I will probably work on the smaller folders first and tackle the bigger ones (Like 2600) near the end of this project. I will do these in batches, so at no point should there be any dead links.

After that I still have a large backlog to stuff to scan.

I wonder if I could scan the following cover:
Saturday Night Speedway (PS2)
Including this game since it was requested ;)

Everything with the exception of Intellivision is linked to it's individual asset. Including scans of all my Japan pickups!
