Went to my first Swap Meet this morning. Initial impressions - most people are out to rip you off. Many are very nice about it, but people either don't know the value of their games, or assume that others don't.
Anyway,,,here are my pick ups. Grand total $65

Disruptor - $10 from a seller who wanted $30 for Duck tales, and $50 for Paladin's Quest. He also got really defensive whenever someone mentioned he was over priced or tried to go lower. I only bought from him because I have been looking for this game forever, and it is in pretty good shape. Some sticker on the back label tho. The sad thing is this guy had a HUGE tent full of hard to find games, games in boxes, sealed games, etc. It was a collector's dream...it's just too bad that 80% of it was grossly overpriced.
Aria of Sorrow - $20, which is a good deal. The guy clearly uses TCP and it even came with a case.
Conker was $20 !!! - guy was really nice, and selling pretty much every Xbox game for $20. Halo, Halo 2, Brute Force, etc. Games that should be WAY below that. So I didn't feel TOO terrible about snatching Conker for that price!
NFL 97 $5...from the same guy, more than I'd like to pay for a sports game I will never play, but the Miami Dolphins are on the cover. I love the Miami Dolphins.
and finally, Casino Kid II was $10!!!
This guy was pretty nice, but I'm not sure he knew what he was selling. he wanted $25 for the Castlevania Adventure (the $7 one) on Gameboy, insisting it was rare. He wanted $50 for Pokemon Silver, saying it was hard to find, etc. So seeing as this guy had some pretty expensive stuff, he seemed to price the recognizable games higher (mega man, mario, etc). It is also possible he mistook this was the first game, which is less than a $10 game. This game goes for more than $50 (cheapest I've ever seen it) so it was awesome to find it for 10. I thought about telling him, but when he quoted me the prices for Castlevania and Pokemon, I had to just take it and go. It is the seller's responsibility to know what they are selling.
