I think it's worth it just for the collectors boxes. Thought the Killzone 3 is so big I may end up reselling it for a lack of storage space. On top of that, everything is in mint condition and some games are still sealed Uncharted 3 (limited edition with figurine and art work) Beyond Two Souls (Steelbook edition) Killzone 3 (limited edition with Helghast helmet & book, art) Tom Clancy's Advance Warfare (Limited Edition with figurine) Mass Effect 3 Limited Edition (includes strategy guide book) COD Black Ops 2 (sealed) Heavy Rain (sealed) COD 3, 4, WAW, MW 2, MW 3 Crysis 2, 3 Killzone 2 Mass Effect 2 MGS 4 Resistance 1, 2, 3 Singularity Battlefield bad company 1, 2 --- End quote --- Nice haul dude! --- End quote --- Thanks! I was surprised the guy still had it unsold after a few days, but at the same time, besides the collectors edition, the game aren't' worth much. In the end, it's nice to pick them all up at a single time. Costs nothing on shipping and I had only one of those games already. I also got Watchdogs for Wii U today. I think I'm good until Christmas :) |

Like BadChad was saying it is incredibly comfortable and ergonomic. It just melts in your hand when you are holding it. And the analog stick placement is exactly where your thumbs naturally rest when you hold it, making it ideal for fps and fast twitch games. Plus the battery life on it is amazing. I can go weeks without charging it. --- End quote --- I really want to like this controller more than I do, but I am not a big fan of thumbstick placement. The main issue for me tho, is the LAG, especially for virtual console games. VC games are 90% of what I play on the Wii U. Now the lag isn't really major, just a few milliseconds, but when playing Super Mario 3, or Super C, or another game where absolute precision is a must, the Wii U Pro just isn't the best. And, no, this s not just a busted controller, or a faulty Wii U. I have been complaining with others about this issue for almost 2 years. There is no lag with the gamepad, the wii mote or any other controller for any other system. --- End quote --- I remember that lack of input lag was one of the main touted features of the wired Gamecube controllers for SSB Wii U. I didn't pick a Gamecube controller up because I'm not a big Gamecube guy and I'm more of a casual player so it didn't seem like a big deal to me for a game like SSB. I now wonder if I'll be at a significant disadvantage compared to players using the wired GC conrollers. I picked up the Wii U Pro controller based on some good reviews and I'm a fan of the 360 controller, which the Pro controller reminds me of (it's actually a bit more comfortable to me though I haven't played using the thumbsticks yet). Regarding the Wii U Gamecube controller, I'm reluctant to get yet another controller for the system. I already have 4 Wii Motion Plus Motes (to play NSMBU) on top of the Gamepad w/screen and now having a Wii U Pro controller it feels like a bit much. Do you think the wii motes have a fast enough response time for VC and games where precision timing is critical or do you need to go wired with a Gamecube controller for maximum control? Is there another wired option besides the Gamecube controller or is it not necessary as the wii motes would suffice? One last note on the Wii U Pro controller, not a fan of the piano black. It's impossible to keep it looking good with how it shows fingerprints... |

I have played Mario 3, Zelda, etc with the wii mote and haven't experienced any problems. The only lag I have ever noticed is when using the wii u pro, and only on VC titles. I have been playing Hyrule Warriors lately with the pro, and haven't had any problems. I don't know if the lag is so minute that it doesn't matter? I have not tested the pro with New Super Mario U, or Mario 3D word, so I can't verify how it plays with them or other wii u based platformers. FOr Hyrule, Windwaker, Call of Duty - I haven;t noticed anything. I have only had problems with the VC games. But then again, those games usually require a lot more timing that games do today. But if there is some minor lag, I can see Smash Bros being REALLY frustrating, especially online. Now the Gamecube is one of my top 5 favorite controllers ever (we should do a list of our favorite controllers...) so I am really excited about getting my bundle for Christmas. Sadly, my wife won't let me open it early :-\ And what excites me even more is that it supposedly will work with any wii u game that supports the pro controller. |

The gamecube is definitely up there in terms of comfort. It does have amazing triggers (quite possibly my favorite triggers of all time). |
