I may have to agree with you there. The Wii U Pro controller is unbelievably comfortable to me. I've always been a really big fan of the PS Dual Shock controllers (and I do like the Dual Shock 4 aside from the share and options buttons), but the more I use my Pro Controller the more I find myself liking it more and more. And while I've never really had anything against the Xbox controllers, I've always preferred to have my analog sticks symmetrical to each other.

That last part is completely true for me. I haven't used the Wii U pro controller yet, but I was a big fan of the classic controller for the original Wii.
For me, the basic design of the PS controller (once they added the analog sticks) has allways been the best designed controller in my opinion.

I'd pick one up if I were you. Like BadChad was saying it is incredibly comfortable and ergonomic. It just melts in your hand when you are holding it. And the analog stick placement is exactly where your thumbs naturally rest when you hold it, making it ideal for fps and fast twitch games. Plus the battery life on it is amazing. I can go weeks without charging it.

The reason I haven't used it yet is because I don't have a Wii U. ;)
But I assure you that whenever I eventually pick one up, I will get a pro controller.

Got that large haul yesterday for 100$ (CA, 90$ US :P ). I think it's worth it just for the collectors boxes. Thought the Killzone 3 is so big I may end up reselling it for a lack of storage space.
On top of that, everything is in mint condition and some games are still sealed
Uncharted 3 (limited edition with figurine and art work)
Beyond Two Souls (Steelbook edition)
Killzone 3 (limited edition with Helghast helmet & book, art)
Tom Clancy's Advance Warfare (Limited Edition with figurine)
Mass Effect 3 Limited Edition (includes strategy guide book)
COD Black Ops 2 (sealed)
Heavy Rain (sealed)
COD 3, 4, WAW, MW 2, MW 3
Crysis 2, 3
Killzone 2
Mass Effect 2
MGS 4
Resistance 1, 2, 3
Singularity
Battlefield bad company 1, 2

I really want to like this controller more than I do, but I am not a big fan of thumbstick placement. The main issue for me tho, is the LAG, especially for virtual console games. VC games are 90% of what I play on the Wii U. Now the lag isn't really major, just a few milliseconds, but when playing Super Mario 3, or Super C, or another game where absolute precision is a must, the Wii U Pro just isn't the best.
And, no, this s not just a busted controller, or a faulty Wii U. I have been complaining with others about this issue for almost 2 years. There is no lag with the gamepad, the wii mote or any other controller for any other system.
