I have yet to see a reason to buy a PS4 or xbone. I thought what Microsoft tried to do was insulting to my hobby, so it will take a lot to get me to look at it again. I bought the wiiU because i love the zelda franchise and like to keep up to date on it. also, the multi-player games are great with friends (i highly recommend rayman legends). If i do buy a current gen that's not pc I wait till the price drops. short answer: no I wait for price drops unless I'm hyped. |

In generally I really only buy new technology when I'm genuinely excited to try it right away. Otherwise, I'm content not worrying about staying up to date on technology. I honestly still have no interest in a PS4 or Xbone, as there are no games that interest me personally. However I'm having a blast playing my new Sega Saturn. Same goes for games. I used to worry about pre-ordering and getting games day one, but now I almost prefer to enjoy older games and wait until the new ones start to drop in price. Come to think of it, I think the last game I pre-ordered was Batman Arkham Asylum. On a related note - I just watched Batman Returns...on Laserdisc. And yes, I have it on Bluray. :P |

I am in absolutely no hurry to get a PS4 (always have been and always will be a PlayStation guy). Still have about 50 games on PS3 that need playing and then another couple dozen or so across PSOne & PS2 that I haven't played yet (I only buy games I actually intend to play someday). Got a bunch of Genesis ones too. And frankly, there's really not been any games for the new systems that make me think "I really want to play that". At least not any that don't have a PS3 version that's pretty much just as good. |

I have no plans to pick up an X-bone or whatever dumb thing people are calling the dumb thing at this point. Ever. |
