| How important is it to u to keep up with modern games? |

| Jeff:
I own plenty of games that I haven't even touched yet, and there are a ton of games that I want for the systems I currently own. I don't see a reason to buy the newest thing yet. With my gaming habits, I estimate that I have ~3 years worth of games to go through without needing to buy anything new. I might buy a new computer in that time, but not a console. |

Here is my answer: I go the XboxOne on launch day ... I have 2 games for the system. This coming from someone who has 1644 physical games (duplicates not counted) |

I buy everything! Lol. Actually, I don't have an xbone....yet. So far nothing has grabbed me as a reason to buy it. I have about 16 games for the ps4 so far, a number of them still in wrappers. I love cart based systems. There is just something about the whole plugging it in and switching on, and having the game instantly playable. No patches, no firmware updates, no ridiculously long intros. Just play immediately. I don't get the same feeling from a disc and like most here, I hate digital distribution. I'm currently going for a full eu & us sega master system set, and I just love seeing them all lined up on the shelf. I get as much enjoyment from having them, as I do playing them. |

It's only as important as you think it is. Personally, I tend to shop last gen. I collect far more than I play at this point, so there's virtually no reason to buy stuff right when it comes out unless I really want to play it right now (which is super rare). |
