Megatron:
Quite a few of us.  I have had one since June.  I love it.  Some people have some issues because it didn't live up to its high expectations, but I really enjoy it.  I use it more than the actual systems.  Plus it allows me to play super famicom games without modding my SNES.

Correction, it's a totally sweet and sought after piece if gaming history :)

As a collector's item?  Maybe - still over priced.  As a functional piece of gaming hardware, it is over priced for its limited functionality.

so if you already have a component modded nes, snes or n64 there isn't a benefit?

Yes, of course. They've always been pricey, as their availability was always limited, even when they released. I've always wanted one personally.

There's no real benefit unless you don't want to own anything aside from the N64.  At this point it's more of a collectible curiosity than anything.
