I tend to like older graphics more, any of you too?

The 3D just wasn't good enough for what they wanted to do with it. Not that the games aren't still fun, but graphics from that era are in a weird gray zone - not 16-bit charming or modern polished.

The N64 I can still stomach (for the most part), but VERY few 3D PS1 games are still playable for me. They're just an eyesore, and even games that I loved an played the crap out of such as Warhawk, Ace Combat 3 (JP version), and Metal Gear are really hard for me to enjoy anymore.

So yeah, I'm with you on that gray, transitional era thing.

Personally I like all graphics and styles for games. The game-play is what sells it for me. Although I do like older ones more...
And as for the PS1/N64 graphics, I'm really quite fond of that polygon-y feel to them.

I don't mind the n64 graphics either. I know if you play it on a flat screen it makes it look soooo much worse.
