| Any suggestions for party video games? |

| Doom:
Brother hosting a party, but I'm in charge of video games since I'm the one with the Wii. :) I have a few consoles, but I think these two will cover everything. Softmodded XBOX, 8GB standard HDD Wii + Homebrew channel Will play pretty much everything I throw at it, especially the XBOX. I just need game suggestions. I only have two controllers for XBOX, but I have three Wiimotes/nunchuks and three GCN controllers. (Might get one of my brother's closer friends to bring a Wiimote combo or a GC controller) My ideas so far: Goldeneye Masteroids (homebrew Wii app. Multiplayer Asteroids!) StepMania Sonic (Mega Collection or emulated on XB) Super Mario War (never played it but looks like fun) Super Monkey Ball 2 Super Smash Bros.* Super Smash Bros. Melee* Super Smash Bros. Brawl* TimeSpliters 2 TimeSpliters Future Perfect WarioWare: Mega Party Game$! WarioWare Smooth Moves (the multiplayer in this is a lot worse than MPG, probably won't play this) Wii Sports *All of these can be played on Wii! I got a few of the basics covered, but I think I need more casual games and more varied genres. Also the classic selection is pretty dry. Maybe throw in some bomberman? Or Tetris if I can find a four player variety. (Hell, it's not gonna happen by Friday, but maybe some homebrew developer will make 8 player Tetris on Wii!) |

What - no mario kart?????? and what about bust a move? or puyo pop? Then i would always go for some King of fighters or capcom vs action.......or maybe even a tekken tourny. some tony hawks pro skater graffiti.................... |

Forgot all about Mario Kart. MK 64 (the one with GOOD battle mode!) and MK Wii will both be availible. I can't decide which bomberman to use! I also can't figure out how to pick up/throw bombs in Super Bomberman (did some testing) and the non human players do it all the time. Also Goldeneye is out because it's a PITA on Wii, and the controls are too different for people used to modern FPS. |
