So I have been meaning to buy a SupaBoy for awhile, as it seems to be the best option outside of paying hundreds for a custom portable SNES! I just went to buy one and came across this new packaging, and I have no idea about it! Could not find any info on it or anything! So to get to the point does any one know if this is a 3rd version with improvements or is it just a change to the packaging?
Thanx for any help!!!

I have not read anything about updated features. My assumption is it is just updated packaging to be in the same style as their newer products (retron5).

Personally i would recommend the RetroDuo Portable v2.0 over the SupaBoy though.

what are the positives over the SupaBoy? my main grip with retro duo is I do not think I would enjoy that Diamond button layout!

Never had the retro but I would NOT recommend the Supaboy. Mine was brand new and worked fine, but within two days something inside mine melted itself and killed the system. The next one I ordered was damaged during it's assembly, and FINALLY the third one I got worked fine, but I never played it much because I was afraid it would short out on me again. I would probably go with the Retro if I were you.
To be this good it takes AGES!

I do know the retroduo has a pretty good rep. It also comes with the connector to play NES games, and you really want to be hardcore, you can get the Genesis converter too. I've been looking into getting one for myself and for my friend for Christmas.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

They both have their positives and negatives. I know the Supaboy is dam close to 100% compatibility but the Dpad is not great. It can be fixed easily though. The RDP seems to have a nicer screen but has the stupid charger plug into the handle where your hand rests.
