Legend of Dragoon (from what I remember) has a lot of religious references and symbolism in it.  It has been a loooong time since I've played it, but I remember it having a lot of religious undertones.  Several enemies and characters are derived from religious figures and lore.

Hey thanks for the info. If you think of any others please let me know.

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to make an enemy of you or anything, but if you feel you will run across something you don't like in a game because of religious views, then you should just stay away from RPG's altogether.
I am a Christian myself but it's kind of ridiculous to seclude yourself from enjoying what you can in these games.

It would be like if horror movies were you favorite type of movie but you can't watch them because of your religious standpoint.

To limit yourself to what you can and can't do prevents you from furthering yourself. Just saying.

I'm not secluding myself from games I know I enjoy but I will limit myself and my kids as to what I will allow. If I know beforehand that a game takes the Lord's name in vein or if the subject matter paints a negative picture of my faith then I will not buy it, no matter how highly ranked it is.  Like I said earlier it's a gray area for me in some aspects because there are some games I thoroughly enjoy that some would consider to be an affront even to what I'm saying here. It's hard to explain, I guess. I'm picking what I feel is "good and bad" based on what I believe is properly portrayed in these games. You have to admit there are games out there that are so steeped in storylines that are so blatant with the imagery without actually coming out and saying it. And then there are those that just don't care who's offended as long as it's controversial, i.e. free media coverage, and sells a million copies. Biblically based subject matter in games is a touchy topic and needs to be handled carefully because there are Christian gamers out there that might be upset over it. Not that developers care what we think but I would hope that some would.

By the way, all I was asking for were opinions on some of these games. I didn't set out to preach tonight. But if anyone would like to talk about it then feel free to PM me      :)
