That's pretty cool, though tripods are very well suited for that.  You gonna get one?  If so, you should do a little review ;)

I probably will get one after I get my VB shipped in.

Speaking of the VB, what games should I get for it?
It comes with Vertical Force, and I'm looking to get:
Mario Tennis
Mario Clash
Wario Land
Telleboxer.
Any other good ones?

Well you're already over 1/3rd of the US library  :P

Jack Bros really is the best on the system, but it's also the most expensive by far.  Waterworld on the other hand, I don't think is worth the money (even though it's #2 by a large margin)

My 3 faves are Jack Bros, Wario Land, and Mario Clash.

I haven't started trying out homebrew, but I hear Dragon Hopper is pretty awesome too.  I DO have a Flashboy+ for mine, so I really have no excuse...

I've enjoyed Red Alarm a lot. I'm awaiting my shipment to arrive from UncleTusk but I'm getting FaceBall Remastered and that looks like a blast.

I've heard good things about Dragon Hopper but its sold out on UncleTusk.com and I don't know of any other place to buy it.

Waterworld is so terrible.

You guys will prolly kill me, but I bought 10+ sealed copies of that game when EB put em on clearance...

For $.99 a pop. Sold them along with my VB about 7-8 years ago and they weren't worth a damned thing :(

Would the jap Jack Bros play well? It looks like it is story driven. Or is that just the intro cutscenes?

Where would I get a flash cart from?

Ehhh it's Zelda-esque, story's nice but not necessary I would say.

A gentleman named Richard Hutchinson sold them from http://www.vectrex.biz (along with 2 different Vectrex flash carts) but it's been dead for a while now.  I probably still have his email address somewhere, plus I know he's active on Atari Age forums.  I'm sure you could get a secondhand one from ebay or PlanetVB.

And then of course there's always the hope (slim though it may be) that Krikzz of Everdrive fame will make one.  Right now he's working on a GBA Everdrive, but I get the feeling he REALLY likes the challenge of making new carts, considering he's made several he swore he never would, so who knows what 2015/2016 will bring.

I got it in, and it was working at first, but then fell to the horizontal line issue.
I've read that the fix is to re-soder the video ribbon cable, is this true?

I heard that soldering the cable will work, like older gameboys with dead rows. Never had one to try it out though, so just internet advice

Well, I got a screw, Washer, and Wing and it holds it together well, $0.50.
I also tried to put some glue on the plastic Nintendo plate, the crack got worse, and I just kinda made a mess, though I can ether try to get the glue off (I probably need to soak it or something, or repaint it. I used a bottle they had, IDK the brand, but it is super glue.

Get yourself some plastic weld.  Like painting, plastic needs specific materials to make the magic work.

I saw on eBay someone is selling 3D printed attachments to mount it on a camera tripod.
After I get mine I might try and make some sort of head strap, with less duct tape than AVGN  :D

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Virtual-Boy-Tripod-Mount-Stand-Replacement-/201144740897?pt=US_Video_Gaming_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item2ed5292c21

Apparently the one I bought, the Nintendo plate is slightly cracked.  :(  I found a 3D model of a site so I can get a new one 3D printed if necessary.

...finally remembering to check this site NOT from work, so I can log in to ebay too.

8.99 plus an actually reasonable shipping cost?  Sold.  I'll let y'all know how it works out.

Course I'll need to bum a tripod off someone too, but I know enough amateur photographers that that won't be a problem.
