If your system is region modded, that means you have a switch that toggles the pins. Therefore, you don't need an additional adapter. So, does that answer your question?

Yes.  Out of the two options I read about online, that one made more sense to me.  I just wanted to confirm.

This place is a great resource

You kind of need to know what the title is to search for it though.  I can probably help to some degree.  Incidentally, I have a few hu card doubles too.  Will have to have a look what they are and let you know.

STL Has been pretty dry for me when it comes to PCE games. The original Game Trader had a bunch but 95% of them were sports, text adventures, or dating sims (there are a lot of dating sims no PCE...).  I have found some good TG16 games here and there but most of the time people are charging about twice what they are worth just because of how scarce they are.  I've had better luck at cons and on good ol eBay / Amazon.  If your ever up in Chicago there is a great place called "People Play Games" that carry a pretty good amount of TG16/PCE games and their prices aren't too bad.

I have a US TG16 for US games and a PC Engine Duo R for Japanese HuCards and US/JAP CD games (Those are regions free).

Yeah, I'm planning on making a trip out to Game Trader II (apparantly they added a "II" to the name) just to see what they have.  Grumpy Bob's (Newfire) has some as well, but they don't know the names of the games.

I knew that CD games were region free, but it will be some time before I either find a good deal on a CD unit or bite the bullet and pay market values.

Let me know if you have any doubles you are willing to trade or sell.  Even though I'm looking for Japanese games, I might buy US games if the price is right.  I will probably do the region mod eventually.
