Is The Evil Within for PS3 worth spending $25 on? |

Admittedly, I am biased because of my undying love of the film, but I have NEVER been so scared playing a game in my life. The feeling of tension and terror was so strong in that game. A lot of reviews claimed you'd sit and wait forever for the alien to leave, and while I found you certainly COULD hide under a table for 5-10 minutes if you wanted to, sooner or later you'd just have to make a break for it. Every time I'd be whispering to myself, "please don't see me, please don't see me..." and even saving was a harrowing experience at times. I also agree that using the alien to your advantage is incredibly satisfying. I loved every second of that game, and there is one sequence (I won't spoil it) that ranks as one of my all-time favorite gaming memories. Just remember that Isolation is a PURE stealth game. If you go into it with that expectation (and you like that style of game), you'll most likely enjoy it. |

I am still regretting buying Final Fantasy XIII-3 Lightning returns and Tales of Xillia 2 a few weeks they were released because they had a quick price drop a few months after they were released. |
