I never believe that the sellers if these types of auctions really want to sell. For one reason or another, it seems like they all end up being some sort of publicity stunt. I may be wrong, but I'm still willing to bet that he isn't really trying to sell.
If the price is right, wouldn't you be willing to sell your collection? If someone offered me an amount I simply could not refuse I would seriously consider parting ways with my collection. Then again that is just hypothetical and wishful thinking.
No, not really. Don't need the money right now, and my collection means a lot more to me than just a monetary value. In fact, I rarely even consider its value at all. Plus, nobody is offering this person money, he's asking for it. It takes a very specific kind of buyer to purchase a lot like that, and most of the people I know in the game collecting world who could afford it, already have most everything that they want already
