I never believe that the sellers if these types of auctions really want to sell. For one reason or another, it seems like they all end up being some sort of publicity stunt. I may be wrong, but I'm still willing to bet that he isn't really trying to sell. |

If someone offered me an amount I simply could not refuse I would seriously consider parting ways with my collection. Then again that is just hypothetical and wishful thinking. |

However, he might be willing to sell for the right price. For example, I have no intention of ever selling my game collection. But if someone walked up and offered me $30,000 for my collection, I wouldn't think twice to sell it. For that price, I could buy back everything I have and still have enough money to more than double my original collection. Obviously that will never happen, but I think it's a good example of what's happening here. Either that or he just wants to show off. :D |
