So, going through a whole bunch of the empty cases I got when Blockbuster went out of business and came across these.

Looks like DVD cases, but then you open them up...

... they hold GBA and/or NDS game.

I wonder if there's more cases out there like this.

I would wager that blockbuster commissioned them, thus they would be proprietary.  But who knows for sure.

My Blockbuster just tossed GBA games into normal DVD cases. Along with a cut up GBA box.
Also 2 random BB stories.
I remember I had to pry a case open because the dumbass forgot to remove the yellow bar that locks them after I bought the old rental copy, I think it was Final Fantasy 1&2, and I was unable to go back to the store.
Also there was a old BB turned Dollar Store downtown, but the new owners were too cheap to remove the DVD drop-off slot, Enter and exit signs, AND THE GIANT BLOCKBUSTER SIGN ON A POLE, like one of these things It is down now, due to some road work going on.

I used to work at Blockbuster, and those DVD style DS cases were pretty common for us.
