This covers the last few weeks.

Also had a really really bad experience at the local Gamestop trying to get SSB. Enough for me to tell the clerk to f*ck off as I walked out (never been treated so bad that it pissed me off enough) and went across the street to a competitor to purchase SSB.

PS1:
A Bug's Life
Activision Classic Games
Bust a Move 2

DS:
Nintendogs: Dalmatians and Friends

Strategy Guides (got 'em for 50 cents each. Yay!):
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Mind if I ask what happened? I also recently had a bad experience there, not as bad as yours though. If you don't feel like telling it no biggie, just curious.

Some really excellent pickups this month.  Two of which come from a long-time customer (one of my first in fact).  He always has some crazy project for me, which I simply cannot turn down, and this is based largely on his method of payment ;D

The XL comes from TCP's very own razielleonhart.  thank you, sir!

The SNES carts were picked from a massive lot of games that we bought to use for donors.  A handful of which were worth saving, and these the select few.

The GBA games were from the local Exchange shop.  BOF2 was the real steal of the bunch at $5 :)

The Gamecube "Viper" shell came from the aforementioned customer, as well as this...

Never thought I'd be able to track one down, and it turns out that I no longer have to :D  This completes my Gameboy micro collection.  I have every single official variant, color, limited/special edition, etc., plus a few custom units ;)  So excite!

Sure! I went in about 2 hours prior to close on Friday the 3rd (SSB Release day). I see they have about 15 copies on the shelf for sale. I ask if I can buy one, and then I'm asked if I'm a rewards card holder (standard process, no big deal). I'm in this store all the time purchasing games, and the guy knows me all too well (refers to me as the PSP guy as I bought about 12 games from him in the last month and a half). I jokingly say no, as I wanted to see how much he remembers frequent customers (it's not a real busy store at all, and I stop in once a week to look at or purchase games). I then proceed to pull out my rewards card and hand it to him, as well as remind him how frequent I visit, each time using my card. He then voids the order and tells me that all copies are reserved and I'll have to wait until the following day to buy the game. At this point, I was fuming as he would have allowed the transaction to go through were I to buy a new membership. When I mentioned that, he shrugged it off and told me there was nothing he can do.

After that, I told him to fuck off and that I'd be happy to take my future business elsewhere, then went across the street to Target and purchased my copy with no hassles. Target had about 9 copies left.

It just really enraged me that he would have sold it to me were I to sign up for a new rewards card as opposed to using mine.

My birthday present from my wife.

The box on the left is the Tennokoe 2 memory unit.  It attaches to the back where the CD unit would attach.  It's supposed to provide save data.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Also, this was from last week, but I finally broke down and replaced my old PS3 which had been reflowed twice.  It's a slim model with one silver Dual Shock 3 controller and one third party wired controller. All of the cables were included, but not pictured.  The entire sale set me back $100 which I think is fair.

The Games are:
Call of Duty World at War
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
  Call of Duty Black Ops
Call of Duty Black Ops II
  Madden 12

I'm not much of a CoD fan boy, but I've wanted to try World at War as I'm a big fan of WWII games.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

That's ridiculous. I don't blame you one bit for walking out. I would have done the same.

I really wasn't either, but I sure wasn't sad when it showed up (along with that micro, which was a total surprise) :)

I actually got the FF4 one a while back.  I was down to the Porkemans, Mother 3, and Toonami versions.  I NEVER thought I'd end up with the Toonami model.  The guy sent it to me out of the blue  :o

I love my job  ;D

Good deal bro! That's great to hear. When you get them all, it would be awesome to see a pic of them all.
