I'll prolly be the only one here to pass on SSB. Not my cup of tea, and the hype just makes me want it even less.

Me too probably.

Me three!

Played one of the smash games, and really didnt like it.  same for PS allstars.

Honestly I hate PS Allstars, but I've always loved Smash. And yes, I did get the 3DS version.
To be this good it takes AGES!

I can understand not liking it because it's not your thing, but why would the fact that it's been hyped up make you want it less?

I feel that more the game has pre-hype more likely it's a dud because the makers ride on the hype instead of making good game that would get good reviews after launch.

And that quite a big part of pre-hype is paid advertizing instead of truthful anticipation.

That and hyrule warriors. I believe both games are about the title/hype which led me away from them.

As it's been said by other, I want a new 2d birds eye view LOZ (which they did a really good job on the last 3DS version) and 2d side scrolling Metroid.

Anyway. My last pickup was Forza Horizon 2 which I'm enjoying very much.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Nah way too easy and short.
Wall slide gimmick was OKish addition but underused properly.

Glad there are repros of ALTTP.

2d side scrolling Metroid.

Yep, but gopefully they don't fuck it with something stupid.

I will agree with that. I just liked the last zelda because I don't like the 3D world versions. OOT, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword are all trash to me.

Partially agree:

OoT and MM were great, WW was OKish,

But: TP (GC version because better controls than Wii version) was hit and miss and SS sucked.

I finally have a working Atari Lynx!

I've had incredibly bad luck with them recently.  I have one that I've owned for around 12 years.  After having it packed away for a few years, I went to play it only to discover lines in the screen.  I figured the screen somehow went bad, so I bought another on Ebay.  It worked for a few months, then the screen died completely (or so I thought), although the sound worked.  I decided to do some tinkering and switched the motherboards in the two systems.  Sure enough, the screen that used to have lines was now dead (although the sound worked), and the formerly dead screen had the lines.  So, I now realized that it's a motherboard issue, and both screen are likely still good.  The culprit must be bad capacitors on the motherboards.

I decided to try once more, and I bought another Lynx for $40.  The seller was kind of a deadbeat - he didn't ship it for two weeks.  I had to open a case to get him to respond.  He also assured me there were no dead pixels in the screen, and there are a lot of them.  Since I knew I had two good screens, I decided to mix and match to see if I could find a working combination.

In the end, the newest Lynx motherboard coupled with one of my older screens has produced a working system with a good picture and sound (for now anyway).  It only took three defective systems to create one working one.

I traded Mario All-Stars, Earthworm Jim, Donkey Kong Country, and Super Mario World for a complete in box copy of Lunar the Silver Star on Sega CD.  Maybe I lost out on value in the trade, but I only paid the equivalent of 4 bucks total for those 4 SNES games when I picked them up in a game lot from a garage sale this past summer.

Lunar is getting more playing time that those 4 SNES games anyway....

Damn, I just bought SS. Sorry to hear it sucks.

Don't worry, it doesn't suck. That's just Arseen's opinion. :)

Truth be told, it's a slow start, but it does have several memorable moments. Not as many as Twilight Princess, but it's still enjoyable.

I will also go on record to say that Skyward Sword can kiss my ass. It is the only Zelda game that I have no desire to finish. The story, characters, and art are entirely unappealing to me, and it's the finest example of why I HATE waggle stick controls.

Whenever anything is super hyped up like that, people's expectations go through the roof.  That's generally a recipe for letdown.

Paid $7 for these at a rummage. originally only bought Dino Crisis, crash bandicoot 2, and eternal champions for $5. When I got home I realized the Crash 2 had the back for the crash warped I ran back to buy the warped for $2 to get the crash 2 backing.

Picked these up at the flea market today paid $65. Also got a Nintendo brand rumble pack for $5. I should have just walked away from these. The guy selling them printed a bunch of replacement art for some games. They were so terrible that having no art was better. They also attached little plastic sticky hangers on the clear plastic of the ps2 cases. I plan on getting them off by soaking the cases in alcohol. The guy was asking $25 for the Disney mix a lone. Also, the DDR and ooga booga cases are broken. Ooga Booga is in a replacement case but still has all art at least. The total he asked was $88. i offered $50. He was selling things off from his store closing. I think I know why it failed....
