You hit me right in the nostalgia. I loved those little things so much. I can never find them (cheap) anywhere. All the ones i've seen were in ruff shape (sticky/ missing covers). So jelly here. |

--- Quote from: BensJammin on November 02, 2014, 08:37:27 AM ---I know this is a bit out of date now but all these pick ups were in October so I thought it appropriate to post there. I'll start with this: Super Retro Trio: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y295/BensJammin/DSC_00542_zps6c39d1ea.jpg[] Got this for the living room as its nice to play games away from the games room sometimes. I like the instant on feature of it too, very nostalgic. Picked up my first ever PS3: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y295/BensJammin/DSC_00172_zps48ca0a44.jpg Got it from a charity shop for a good price. Some people are very generous! Went to the Play Expo in Manchester UK on the 10th and got this little haul: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y295/BensJammin/IMG_0199_zps1556d704.jpg Some games were cheap, some not so, but as they were there I thought Id treat myself. Upgraded my AV boxes: These aren't cheap but quality is so much better Treated myself to a new monitor: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y295/BensJammin/DSC_0022_zps8695dc04.jpg Ultrawide is awesome! Got a Gamestick dirt cheap: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y295/BensJammin/DSC_00552_zps8600e814.jpg Probably wont use it but its something for the collection. Also picked up a load of PS2 games but cant be bothered to list all those. --- End quote --- Oh man, I had one of those for a while. I couldn't find a single game which justified ownership of the system (though this was in like '98, so web resources weren't what they are today). Let me know what you find. If you don't mind my asking, how much were those switch boxes? There's a way that you could get that down to one box, but I'm curious as to whether or not the price is comparable. |

I'm curious what that Amiga is worth. I never saw that back in the 90s, and one has been popping up on craigslist for almost $400 http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/vgm/4741609922.html I'm just wondering if it is worth anywhere near that. |

Plus it plays backups so I can play what I like until I find bargain bundles to purchase. Individual games tend to be a tad expensive for what they are. The switch boxes were £16 quid each (about $25?). Please tell me how I can get it to one box 8) |

It has more colour depth and higher resolution than a Playstation 1 and some awesome Amiga exclusives |
