Craigslist for $70... not greatest deal but i will take it

That is one sexy cover you got there.

yea there is this really great community on this website i found ran/centered around gamers and collectors that work extremely hard to do these covers and help make everyones collections protected and presentable...  its kind of amazing actually...  i believe its www.thecoverproject.net...  you should check them out  ;)

If you're looking for DS cover which is not on the site next time you may want to search the New DS covers topic as well.

Not a huge pick-up.  But it's nice to have this game "complete". Or atleast my definition of complete, CCIG (cartridge, case, instruction, guide)

I know this is a bit out of date now but all these pick ups were in October so I thought it appropriate to post there.

I'll start with this:

Super Retro Trio:

Got this for the living room as its nice to play games away from the games room sometimes. I like the instant on feature of it too, very nostalgic.

Picked up my first ever PS3:

Got it from a charity shop for a good price. Some people are very generous!

Went to the Play Expo in Manchester UK on the 10th and got this little haul:

Some games were cheap, some not so, but as they were there I thought Id treat myself.

Upgraded my AV boxes:

These aren't cheap but quality is so much better

Treated myself to a new monitor:

Ultrawide is awesome!

Got a Gamestick dirt cheap:

Probably wont use it but its something for the collection.

Also picked up a load of PS2 games but cant be bothered to list all those.

oh god that handheld Aladdin! You hit me right in the nostalgia. I loved those little things so much. I can never find them (cheap) anywhere. All the ones i've seen were in ruff shape (sticky/ missing covers). So jelly here.

Oh man, I had one of those for a while. I couldn't find a single game which justified ownership of the system (though this was in like '98, so web resources weren't what they are today). Let me know what you find.

If you don't mind my asking, how much were those switch boxes?  There's a way that you could get that down to one box, but I'm curious as to whether or not the price is comparable.

I'm curious what that Amiga is worth.  I never saw that back in the 90s, and one has been popping up on craigslist for almost $400

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/vgm/4741609922.html

I'm just wondering if it is worth anywhere near that.

I was a big fan of the Amiga back then but wasnt a great fan of keyboards and loading from floppies wasnt great, so to be able to play these games like ordinary console games is great now. Plus it plays backups so I can play what I like until I find bargain bundles to purchase. Individual games tend to be a tad expensive for what they are.

The switch boxes were £16 quid each (about $25?). Please tell me how I can get it to one box   8)

Not worth anywhere near that but the entire library can be available for free if you're into that and you can convert it to a computer with a keyboard and mouse. It has more colour depth and higher resolution than a Playstation 1 and some awesome Amiga exclusives
