--- Quote from: TDIRunner on October 03, 2014, 10:11:48 AM ---I also prefer using the Original GC on a tube TV. However, it's nice to have option to play through the Wii on a larger HD television. If you are playing Mario Kart or something with four players, it's nice to have the option to use the larger TV. Plus Nintendo did it right by including four controller ports and two memory card slots on the Wiis with backwards compatibility. --- End quote --- Well, I have never thought of that, you are right on the four - bigger screen option |

It's also the easiest way to play GC through component video...... unless you get lucky and find the cable for under $250. |

Lots of my GC games allow me to do progressive scan and it's great. Only real downside about the Wii is the annoying requirement to always have to have a Wii remote with batteries ready to select the game from the screen before I can play. Note: Played a short session with Luigi's Mansion and it's quite an interesting (note: FUN!) game. Not what I was expecting but it's very unique. |

Luigi's mansion is a great game. One day I will get around to finishing it (bought on release along with the cube). Will just have to find which memory card my old save is on. |
