Today was a good day. I got a tip about a local pawn shop that had a huge retro game sale. Apparently a game collector had died and his family had sold his collection to the pawn shop. I have to say, I wish I could have met this collector. I’ve never seen so many games, systems and boxes in perfect condition. The consoles looked like they’ve never been used. The boxes were near perfect with little to no wear. The games were in amazing condition. I wish I could have found this sooner as I had already missed out on a working CDi with about a dozen games (sold for $150

).
Anyway, here are my pickups. It all set me back $200.
This is something I’ve never seen before. The Starpath Supercharger for the Atari 2600. This is an add-on device for the Atari 2600 that increases the RAM from 128 bytes to 6KB (seriously). You then plug an audio cable into the headphone jack of any cassette player and put the games (which are cassette tapes) into your cassette player and hit play. WTF

I can’t wait to try this out.
The games are:
• Suicide Mission (CIB)
• Communist Mutants from Space (CIB)

• The Official Frogger by Sega (CIB) ***BY SEGA***

• Fireball (CIB)
• Killer Satellites (CIB)
• Phaser Patrol (with manual)
• Sword of Saros (with manual)

Next, I picked up two Atari Lynx systems. No boxes, but I have the manuals. The systems are almost perfect. There are some scratches, but not on the screen. I have one A/C adapter and one link cable. I also have the following games:
• Checkered Flag (with manual)
• World Class Fussball/Soccer (with manual)
• California Games (with manual)
• Todd’s Adventure in Slime World (with manual)
• Batman Returns (with manual)
• Pit-Fighter (with manual)
• Blue Lightning (CIB)
• Chip’s Challenge (CIB)
• Black Out (CIB)
• Ms. Pac-Man (CIB)
• Klax (CIB)
• Shanghai (CIB)

I also picked up the following Atari Jaguar Games:
• Evolution: Dino Dudes (CIB)
• Pinball Fantasies (sealed CIB)
• Kasumi Ninja (CIB)
• Cybermorph (with manual & overlay)

And finally the following NES games:
• Donkey Kong 3
• Zelda II: The Adventures of Link
