Wow.  :o

Sad that someone had to die for you to get it, but glad it went to another collector at such decent prices.  I would probably shit with excitement if I picked all that up for that little money! ;D

Did you leave much else behind?

Lots of buying on Nintendo Age and Ebay for me.

Wow, never thought someone from Southern Illinois would be on here. I'm in Carterville, where are you located?

It is sad.  I wish I could have seen his collection they way he had it setup.  I spoke with the store owner and he seemed to think that most of the buyers had been collectors as well.  I hope that turns out to be true as I would hate to see any of this stuff end up on eBay.

I passed on a Radio Shack brand of Intellivision with about 30 boxed games.  I swear they looked like they had never been handled.  Amazing condition.  I also passed on an Atari 5200.  They had a few N64s including one in transparent green which is one of my favorite N64 colors.  They had the N64 memory upgrade in original box.  I wanted to buy so much more but I simply had to refrain myself.  I was thinking that I would wait a week and if anything is still left over, I might make a very aggressive offer to clear him out.  They also had an Atari Jaguar with several boxed games which I already had (I bought all of the games I didn't have and left the others).  So much more stuff that I can't even think to list right now.

I see you aren't too far from SIU.  I'm only 2 hours from you.  I went to SIUE.

Okay, so I couldn’t help myself.  I went back to that pawn shop to take another look.  Just about everything had sold including the Intellevision and boxed games.  There was also a perfectly clean TurboGrafx 16 with several controllers that I was not aware of yesterday.   >:(

However, since everything had been picked clean, I was in a good position to make an aggressive offer on the rest of the lot.  $120 out the door.

First is the Fairchild Channel F.  This is one odd gaming unit.  All wires are permanently attached.  This includes both controllers, RF video cable and power cable.  The controllers are eight-way joysticks with no buttons.  The joystick acts as the only button.

Six games total, all complete in box:
•   Videocart-1 - Tic-Tac-Toe, Shooting Gallery, Doodle, Quadra-Doodle
•   Videocart-2 – Desert Fox, Shooting Gallery
•   Videocart-3 – Video Blackjack
•   Videocart-5 – Space Ware
•   Videocart-9 – Drag Strip
•   Videocart-12 - Baseball

I have a feeling there aren't too many covers for these games floating around on this here site..... :P

The sale also included an Atari 5200 with 5 controllers, one track ball controller and 24 games all complete in box.

The system is so big it gets its own picture.

One of the controllers came with a box which is in fantastic condition.  I wondered why there were so many controllers and then I remembered:  The controllers are famous for being faulty.  Also, this system actually has four controller ports!!!!!

And the games all CIB:
•   Astro Chase
•   Baseball
•   Centipede
•   Congo Bonbo
•   Countermeasure
•   Dig Dug
•   Frogger
•   Galaxian
•   Gorf
•   H.E.R.O
•   Mr. Do!’s Castle
•   Ms. Pac-Man
•   Pac-Man
•   Pengo
•   Pitfall II
•   Popeye
•   Q*Bert
•   River Raid
•   Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator
•   Super Breakout
•   The Dreadnaught Factor
•   Wizard of Wor
•   Zenji
•   Zone Ranger
