Wait, is Super Bowling expensive? I got that in a lot of games.

Just looked it up. Well color me surprised.

Yeah, sorta surprised me too.  Not something that I want to spent $30+ on, but I guess that's how it goes.

That's another one of those Rental Exclusives like Sculptors Cut. Some others that are more expensive than they should be because of this are Stunt Racer 64 and NFL Blitz Special Edition (Transformers Beast Wars might've been too)

I can't wrap my head around the price of sculptor's cut.  Beast Wars is pretty damned cheap, and it's a WAY more popular franchise, yet it's sub-$30.  Also a BB exclusive, but apparently not nearly as valuable.

Sculptor's Cut was a Blockbuster Rental Only deal. That's why it's so high.

I mean, look at how high Sonic Adventure: Limited Edition goes for. It is literally a limited version of Sonic Adventure, it's the same game with all the online functionality cut out of it, yet it goes for hundreds while the full version goes for peanuts.

Sculptor's Cut is at least an enhanced version of the original, with more characters and other stuff. I can actually see why someone would want it in terms of actually playing it. Things like SA:Limited remind me of when I see people get extremely excited by a Red Label NES game that they already have a Gray Label version of. I'm all about collecting stuff, I'm in the process of getting every Dreamcast game, but I just don't see the point in having two Sonic Adventures.

So was Beast Wars, among others, which is why it confounds me.

I thought you had a LaserActive there for a second.  Don't do that to me again. ;D
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

It's made by Pioneer and looks similar so this was probably the model they based the laser active on or a cheaper version that didn't have all the extras like Sega CD.

Bought by first N64 dupe today.  Guess it's time for an actual list and stop relying on my memory :P

Player's guide was randomly handed to me today by one of my new partners while we were unpacking :)

The worst thing about N64 carts not having end labels is that game stores try to make their own. ::)

For sure.  But these guys recently switched to a far less sticky label paper which peels off with zero effort and leaves no mess behind.  They only started using it about 2 months ago, so anything that's been on shelves for longer will still have the old, uber sticky shit, but at least they're trying.  They also recently stopped putting their labels directly on SNES cart labels, thank GOD!

You should feel lucky.  We have no local retro game scene.  I have to drive 2 hours to even hit a mega replay.

Lots of buying on Nintendo Age and Ebay for me.

Trust me, I'm quite thankful for our local stores, of which there are PLENTY!  Can't complain when I can walk in and grab all of this stuff for very fair prices :)
