I hate this shit.

I seriously don't even know where to start with how bad Nintendo conducts business.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I plan on buying one. Impressions from the Tokyo Game Show seem to be quite positive. If the smaller model has a cool colour scheme, I plan on picking up that version as the screen is slightly bigger than the original.

I'm torn, I love the color scheme of the smaller one. But even with it being slightly bigger I'm afraid it will still be too small. I have pretty big hands and holding the tiny regular 3DS starts to hurt after a while. Found a red Pokemon X&Y 3DSXL for cheeeeeeaaaaapp at a local yard sale so I have that though :)

Afaik they will release a normal sized (with slightly larger screens) version and a XL version (with same screen size as the normal 3DS XL) in parallel. At least here in europe.

Actually I personally plan on getting one for the two sticks.
2 + 3 = 23

I decided I would most likely wait as well. I just hope they don't lose any functionality like backwards compatibility with DS. It drives me crazy when a newer version comes out with new features that you want, but also loses older features that you still need (sort of like when the DSi/DSiXL lost backwards compatibility with GBA games and some DS games).

I'll answer the 3rd.

Second analog stick, 2 more shoulder buttons, more powerful and faster processor, 3D effect tracks your head position with the camera and adjusts itself.

I myself am pretty excited about the new one. I do a lot of gaming on the 3DS and look forward to the superior hardware. Plus I really dig the new famicom style buttons and the second "analog stick" or whatever that nub is.
