Very nice ... I'm looking forward to FINALLY getting a Wii U in October (Birthday present from the wife ;D) along with:

Super Mario 3D World - Wii U
New Super Mario Bros U - Wii U (along with the Luigi content)
Mario Kart 8 - Wii U
Hyrule Warriors - Wii U
Super Smash Bros - Wii U
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire - 3DS
Pokémon Omgea Ruby - 3DS
Super Smash Bros - 3DS

Not video games, but of course some Amiibo figures as well :)

I hope Super Mario 3D World doesn't dissapoint you too bad.

It's not bad (better that Sunshine and Galaxies) but bit dissapointing.

Instead of open worlds it's tube running game (more 2D than 3D).

Enjoyable but such a wasted oportunity to make Super Mario 64 part 2

That sounds like a good thing to me. ;)
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

If it would be 2D game then yes (those are good too I love NSMB games and all the older Mario games and Yoshi's Island games.

But to call the 3D it should not be tube runner.

To answer your question, I don't know what games I'm getting.  I should get my Core Grafx one week from today, so I'll hopefully start getting some games for that.  I want to get a Wii U this year, but I might push that off as I need to replace my PS3 first.  There's about a dozen games or so I would like to get for the Wii U, and surprise, surprise, they are all first party games.  I'll probably wait another year for prices to start coming down.

Fair enough.  I'm just old school enough that I'm not too crazy about 3D games that were 2D in my childhood.  Sonic, Mario, Donkey Kong and Metroid are some big examples.  I have yet to find a 3D Sonic game that I like and Super Mario 64 is really the only 3D version I've played that I can get into.  I love the 2D NSMB stuff though, and I'm so glad that Donkey Kong Returns was 2D as well.

BRING BACK SOME 2D METROID!!!!!!!!  They need to apply the NSMB/Donkey Kong Returns template to Super Metroid. :D

have yet to find a 3D Sonic game that I like

Sonic Adveture I liked, got bored with the second.

Super Mario 64 is really the only 3D version I've played that I can get into.

Same.

Sunshine was gimmicky.
Galaxies tube runners of worst kind.
3D Worls and land were playable but again too 2D.

I love the 2D NSMB stuff though, and I'm so glad that Donkey Kong Returns was 2D as well.

NSMB were really good, if not way too easy.
Haven't played the Donkey Kond returns, but videos scare me to believe that too easy gimmicky, but no judgement until plaing.
Metroids... if they can make them good.

But there are always repros of Super Metroid.

Yeah, I'm totally jealous. I'm too cheap to buy a PS3 so I'll own the game but have to borrow a friend's system to play it on. Haha. Merry Christmas to us!

It looks like Mario Maker and Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Wii U don't come out until next year, so I will probably wait until then to get my Wii U, but whenever it happens I will be looking to get:
  New Super Mario Bros. U
  New Super Luigi U
  Mario vs. Donkey Kong
  Mario Kart 8
  Mario Maker
  Mario Party 10
  Super Mario 3D World
  Dr. Luigi
  Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
  Game & Wario
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
