But Daikatana and Superman 64 were both on the 64.  Which one wins?

My first "exposure" to that abortion was on PC.

Superman 64 will always be the worst on the N64.

Firefly on 2600 makes ET look amazing. The bad thing, it was released after Sorcerer and reuses 90% of the same stuff, why does it look so much worse?  You can tell star fox on the 2600 uses most of the same code too just looking at it.

I always gave Deadly Towers the distinction of worst ever and that turned me off on all Broderbund games so i missed out on Guardian Legend. Anybody else play a bad game and then that turned you off of that publisher?

Nintendo is doing their best to alianate me with Zelda and 3D Mario games...
Hope the next ones would be great again.

I really don't have much imput because I avoid games known to be bad. But I have been disappointed by games. Aliens: Colonial Marines and Duke Nukem are recent let downs.
My DS Cover Requests: Anno 1701, A Witch's Tale, A Witch's Wish, Black Sigil, Dynasty Warriors, Flower Sun and Rain, Mage Knight Destiny's Soldier, n+, Time Ace

Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde on NES, Bubsy 3D on PS1, Bram Stokers Dracula on any of the systems it was released for.

There's a lot more but those were the first off the top of my head.

I liked the recent Duke Nukem.  At least I feel that I got my $10 worth.  There were problems for sure, but overall I enjoyed beating it and I will play though it again if I ever get a working ps3.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I think there are different definitions for  "worst"

There are games that are just designed so poorly that they are nearly unplayable, then there are games that play fine, but are just really bad games.  There is also the very subjective "games one personally can't stand", which others could love.  An example of this for me would be Windwaker.  I can't believe how much that game bothered me/let me down - yet others absolutely adore it.

From a technical standpoint, one of the worst games I can think of that I have played is "Star Wars:  Masters of Teras Kasi".  The gameplay was awful and controls are some of the worst the PS1 has to offer.  With all of the great fighters on PS1 (Tekken, MK, SF, Soul Blade, etc) you'd think copying that formula and adding Darth Vader would have been a no brainer...nope.

From a "wow, this game sucks" perspective, I would say South Park on PS1.  The game was so repetitive and boring, it got old in about 2 minutes after pressing start.  And was just a really disappointing game, especially when compared to the N64 version - which was nothing special, but mils ahead of he PS1 version.

And just to continue the PSX trend, a game that I was personally very let down by and consider one of the "worst" is WWF Smackdown.  After the success and awesomeness of Warzone and Attitude, Smackdown! was just a disappointment both in the creative department as well as story telling.

My friend growing up would always go out of his way to like obscure  non-mainstream stuff. He was into Data East when I was Konami or he was FCI when i was Capcom. He did hit on a few gems with Kid Niki and Maniac Mansion. To me if a publisher hits a HR with one or two games chances are  the rest are playable no matter how bad.
