Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make custom covers for Final Fantasy X and XII in the same style as Lumberjack42's PS1 Final Fantasy covers? They have a nice uniform style, while managing to keep a distinct look from game to game. and it would be really neat to be able to proudly display my PS2 Final Fantasy games nicely next to their PS1 counterparts.

To clarify, I'm asking for two, separate covers for each game. I doubt anyone will think otherwise, but I want to avoid any potential confusion.

I don't have any raws, but they're unnecessary seeing as that the original NTSC covers for both games are on this site anyhow, located here and here respectively.

Thank you very much in advance.

Lumberjack42 should be able to do this in like a minute. I'd imagine he has the proper layers set up in photoshop and it's just a matter of arranging the roman numerals and changing the gradient color.

If he doesn't want to do it for some reason (doubtful) I can do it sorta easily, but not as easily as Lumberjack42 since he has the .psd and I'm just a looser with inferior software (Paint.NET)

Wow, these are FANTASTIC! I'm loving them!

Do you think, when these are done, you could create a preview showing them lined up with your ps1 covers?

EDIT: I just noticed this, you may have not, but the small PS logo in the square on the spine should have a white background. It's that way on every non-GH ps2 game I own.

And actually, wasn't X-2 made after the Enix merger? But yeah, they look pretty great; definitely going to be using the FF9 and 10 covers.

Nope, right before the enix merger in fact.

Final Fantasy XI was the first game made after it.

looks good LJ, FFX-2's banner logo looks a little off. The "2" after the playsation logo seems to be a little low.

maybe its just IMANDIX, maybe not

Hmm, you're right about that. These are WIPs though, so it's nothing that can't be fixed I'm sure.

As a bonus idea, you think you would put like an image on the spine? So that way if they were in the bookshelf it would look like a set. Just a thought. Good work. I hate the games but I love it when people give consistency to a series' covers.

They look great but I think the Playstation logo on the spine should be a white box instead of a black one.

The logos on the spines already line up and match perfectly. An image on the spine would be unnecessary and a bit unreasonable, considering he has matching covers for the rest of the series already.

I think I'd be you're guy for that. But I don't just do custom art when nobody wants it. So if somebody wants  it and if Lumberjack42 can give me transparent PNGs of the spines I could do it. First though, we need somebody who wants it and will use it.

Well, as an idea. I don't want it, but I'm thinking of something for someone who might.

What if the image on the side like made a crystal. One of those Final Fantasy crystals or something.

It would be neat, sure, but uh... what would you put there? Really, other than name and some gameplay concepts the only thing the games all have in common is... Chocobos. Crystal might work, sure, but they aren't even in the plot in at least 4 of the games.

Personally I don't like the idea, I doubt I would use it, but if someone else really wants them, then I say go for it.
