JakeHC, Your most recent scan of the  Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume DS PAL has lines running throughout the cover. Is possible for you to scan the cover without the lines?

I have no idea, my printer is old as shit haha. That's pretty much as good as it's going to get. I'll have to set up a different printer and give it a go.

the problem might be that you are trying to scan on a printer.  try it on a scanner! lol

JakeHC, Your first scans at 600DPI did not have any lines running through the cover scans? Do you think that could just try re-scanning the back of the cover again?
