just how "rare" is it?
kingjohn3:
Does anybody know how accurate nintendo age and other sites are when it comes to their opinion of how rare something is? Seems to me that ebay completed listings would be a better indicator. What do yall think?
palmer6strings:
No, there is no logical way to decipher how rare a game is unless everyone person owning that specific game stated they had it for a specific region.
And also no on eBay because there is games that are fairly common that sells for quite a chunk of change. Example: Earthbound.
mojoeskateco:
You would need to know the production runs for each game were.
I find the NA list somewhat accurate.
The rarer games as per those online lists are also the ones I tend to see less often in the wild.

I happened to notice Super Mario World is selling for nearly, and in some cases, over $100 CIB. Isnt that the most common game for SNES? Is the original box harder to find than the Players Choice?

Yes the game is the most common, but to my knowledge it never came in non-player choice box, so those boxes are fake.
