Xbox Live?

Sorry about the vague title but I was considering renweing my Xbox subscription and I was wondering... what do you people here think of Xbox Live? This isn't a "should I do this?" type of topic, just curious what people think, since it seems a good hunk of the people here are exclusively retro-focused.

You don't. The pay wall for using apps on XBL is gone and has been for sometime. You can use netflix on your Xbox 360 without gold.

Well I guess that's good to know. I gave up on them long before that happened. The interface is about a 100 times better on the WiiU anyway ;)
