TDIRunner:
I don't know if it's a hidden gem or not, but I thought that the Goldeneye remake was awesome and I never felt it got that much attention.

If you like imports, Sengoku Basara 3: Utage and EX Troopers are great fun.

SB3U is an enhanced version of Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes in America - almost all the NPCs from SB:SH are made playable in SB3U, plus a new and extremely badass character is added who fights with one hand behind his back, tossing gunpower on his opponents and using his sword to cause sparks, effortlessly slaying enemies.

EX Troopers is basically Lost Planet anime style. It's really pretty to look at and fun as well.

Got both of these on my stay in Japan for really cheap. EX Troopers I'm pretty sure cost me less than $10 while SB3U may have cost me somewhere around $20.

Under defeat HD  ;D

Its a HD remake of an awesome shmup from the Dreamcast ... that seemingly no one knows exists!
Blumpkin:
Aton7, your list contains Ace  Combat Assault Horizon and Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2. Two of the worst games of their respective series.

Assault Horizon nearly single handedly destroyed the Ace Combat franchise. And LoS2 is one of the most disappointing games of last year. You've got some good stuff on that list, but those are a couple of titles that I'd straight up avoid.

I loved it on the dreamcast and I loved it even more on the PS3.  Rented it from gamefly to try it out, got the platinum trophy, now I just need to buy it so I can add it to my collection.

No More Heroes (An HD remake of a Wii game) was also pretty fun.  Although, if you enjoyed it, you'd need a Wii to play the sequel lol
