I would happily pay $1.00 for each case. Maybe even do what Nintendo does with their cases. $1.00 each. and $4.00 for a 5 pack. I'd buy so many!  ;D

the only thing i need to know is how much will cost  :P, after that nothing worries me  :P ;D

Cost should be the same as the Gameboy cases. So a sliding scale of $2.50-$1.00ea.

Awesome, I am down for 200 cases if it is 1.00 each. Thanks.

i think you guys understood wrong, the price will depend of how many cases you'll buy. for GB/ GBC/ GBA cases it was like this

1 Case = $2.50ea
5 Case Pack = $11.25 ($2.25ea)
25 Case Pack = $50.00 ($2.00ea)
50 Case Pack = $75.00 ($1.50ea)
100 Case Pack = $125.00 ($1.25ea)
500 Case Pack = $575.00 ($1.15ea)
1000 Case Pack = $1,000.00 ($1.00ea)

 ;)

This.

I was going to say the same thing.  Unfortunately, that will make them a little more than a UGC, but I think the price is still fair and definately worth it.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Worth the extra money for not having to modify them

Dude, ShadowFox... if you legit have 10k "pledged"... screw it, do a kickstarter!  I'm assuming a good portion of the people pledging are repeat customers and know how you work.  Less money out of your pocket and a good chance of getting the product faster.

This IS true! There are 2 reasons I am not doing a kickstarter (At this moment) 1.) Nintendo: I have a funny story about a Director of Nintendo purchasing my cases off of Amazon.com. Is name was David, and he actually introduced himself, ordered 12 cases, told me they were going to review my products, and said they would contact me if they need anything else from me. ...  :o :-X

So that was like 8months ago. A law buddy of mine gave me his opinion about it and he thinks they just wanted me to know that THEY know I am here.... and that I'm a small fish.... that they don't want to do anything about right now. ....so if I did a kickstarted and let's say on the off chance it blows up and I make like $20,000.00 .... or $2,000,000,000.00 I REALLY, REALLY feel that David will be contacting me.  ;D Annnnd I don't want that.  :-*

2.) Other people: When I did the Gameboy cases I had like 20-ish people contact me about everything there is to know about doing what I'm doing. Things like how much money are you banking, what factory are you using, "I'm making my own cases already and going to crush you", partnerships, and on and on.... Stuff like that is normal, and a small handful of those people are TCPers which is AWESOME! I try really, REALLY hard to keep peace with everyone, my cases are not on eBay with covers. (There are 1-2 TCPers already doing that and I don't want to hurt their business) Retrogamecases.com is a TCPer again, I know who he is and we are on good terms, I know his stuff is good and he's not a bad guy AT ALL. I will NEVER say anything negative about retro. And on and on.... now! Throw these cases on kickstarter and I feel like the floodgates will open, sure I might make some good cash.... but the "COST" will be 100+ other guys saying "I can make those myself" "Just sell out now" bla bla bla.... and in truth, I have an Uncle who DOES things like that! All he needs is like 15% profit on his investment and he deems it a good choice.... he would be the one to print out covers at $0.05ea make his own cases and buy them in the 100,000's at $0.20ea and sell covered cases at $0.50ea and decimate everyone.  I don't want to do that.  ;) "Live at peace with all men" I strive for this, and this keeps me from attempting to do that with my cases.

Sorry for the long winded reply, but this is why I have not placed these cases on there. Another reason would be: Take a look at the "affordable" Desktop 3D printer projects on kickstarter. On dude got like $400,000.00 for his asking of $50,000 and then all of the sudden like 10 other kick starter pages pop up leaching that first guys dream. I mean, yeah, to each his own. But DANG! The first guy was the one with the vision... all the other guys after him are money hungry.... and in spamming kickerstarter like that, it takes the spotlight away from the author. (Just like going to a stand up comedy, first guy gets up there and starts his thing then 6 other comedians jump on stage to join him... without his approval. The end result will not be what the first comedian had in mind.)

...OKAY! I promise that is the end of my reply! HA-HA!

Absolutely nothing you are doing is illegal or even close to it.   Sell a billion of these and it wouldn't matter.

If Nintendo really wanted/wants to look at your product, they will do so silently.  It's pretty hard to believe that they would feel the need to tell you that they're going to buy 12 cases :-\  I've seen @playstation.sony.com, @nintendo.com, @square-enix.com, etc. emails pop up in my PayPal acct a number of times and they rarely do more than place their order.  If they do reach out, it's usually just the "I dig your stuff" sort of thing.

I'd kickstarter the hell out of all these cases, considering the following you seem to have amassed.

My need is 1000.

I just need to save dough.

Must first buy that computer and TV.
For those I have nearly all needed money saved.
I finally found the TV I want: LG 65" UHD/4K 3D TV with 3 HDMI 2.0 ports.

God damn that must be a huge game library!

I'd love to see it when it's all done, that TV sounds killer too.

Also Shadowfox, I have a suggestion for cases that you might like to make next, no one else does them at all so you could potentially make a killing.

I had pictures of some of my games in their current cases (Doublewide DVD cases so they look the same) in one topic, but seems I have deleted them.
I'll take new picture today after work if I remember.

Man, I wish you guys would stop making awesome new cases because now what am I going to do with my 100ish total I already have?  Time to pawn them off I guess.  So yeah, you can also pre-count on me for some NES cases (~75).

Have you ever thought about reproducing PS1 cases for the PAL Format?

There's absolutely no way to replace them at all, I'm sure they'll sell like crazy haha. Very similar to dreamcast cases.

I need about 800 but i am with you on saving the cash for it.

I just started looking for this type of product.  mine have always just sat out of any case.  my biggest question is Where will these be available.  When is not as big of a deal.  I've waited this long I can wait a little longer.
