I was looking through some of the NES covers. Man! They look fabulous! Great work, Shenske! I found some errors that need correcting on some covers below:

Bandit Kings of Ancient China
The word "speech" is misspelled on the back cover.

Solitaire
There is a grammar mistake on the back. The sentence says "After all, your in no hurry, you've got all the time in the world.". The word "your" needs to be changed to "you're".

Sesame Street: Big Big's Hide & Speak
The word "fun" under the 3rd screenshot is misspelled. The word "worry" under the 2nd screenshot is capitalized. That word needs to have a lowercase w. On the legal text, the word "Workshop" on the first sentence has a lowercase w. It needs to have an uppercase w because that's the name of the company.

Miracle Piano Teaching System, The
The word "students" is misspelled on the back cover. It's missing the "t" between "s" and "u".

I thought I would make this list of errors I could find on some of the covers so you are aware of them. Keep up the good work, Shenske!

I was under the impression that the cover project would host these covers.
So was I - I think the plan was to make them available ASAP, and posting them in the forums was much quicker.  But I could be wrong.

The plan is to host the majority of the covers on the site. Hosting them on the forums first is faster, has a complete list, and deters resellers to a small extent (if a reseller wants to throw me a few bones I'll give them a direct link to all  ;) lol).


I didn't see an official index. Some letters are tucked away halfway through a page.

Dayum shenske you made the topic look excellent.

Love the letter logos, they really clean up and divide the topic nicely.

Small request: when/if typos are fixed or new covers are added to the supertopic, can we have them do flagged somehow? Maybe just in a message at the end of the topic? I feel that's gonna be at least as useful as the table of contents.

I was tinking, if any resellers start using these, they need to buy cases from Shadowfox. Then is he has any customer who orders a 1000 NES cases or more, he potentially has the contact information of a the reseller !

It's kinda like this; Yes, re-sellers buy from me... and there are a good handful of them, no one is going to force anyone's hand, but if someone wanted a batch download link for all 750+ covers go give Shenske a $750+ donation and I'm sure he would send you a temporary download link just for you. ;-)

While potentially true, I was thinking of buying these to case my NES collection, which is over 700 so I would buy 1000 cases for myself and not resell them.

yeah didnt think about the resellers....

time to start grabbing them one at a time. Only need 150 so i guess that isnt to bad...

I haven't been able to make a double UGC for my SNES Game Genie.  I keep messing it up and don't want to keep wasting UGCs.  Do you think if I modified one of these new NES CGCs that the SNES Game Genie would be thick enough to house it?

I finally looked at my cases, they have been sitting in storage since there was no covers for them, until now :)

Pros
I really like how robust they are
Holds the game securely
The clear ones are quite clear, not cloudy.
Deluxe outer sleeve compared to the latest UGC batch

Cons
The little spring tabs behind the cart. With a cart in, it slightly bends the case and applies pressure to the cover.
Downside of holding the cart securely, I found it hard to remove the cart. I would prefer looser grip.
