Can these things be modded to fit a black nintendo game sleeve?

No I don't believe so. If you look back in the thread I'm pretty sure there was a huge debate/discussion and most people voted that it should be snug on the game with no sleeve so these won't fit the sleeves.

Sorta remember something like that, but was to lazy to read through 42 pages to find the answer.  I guess all the tabs could be removed and foam placed in there.

... I guess you could, but isn't it kinda missing the point then?  ;)  Might as well just go with the UGC if you're gonna gut it...

That's what I was going to say.   :-\
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I don't think Azarkhel was mad either.  I think he was explaining that he jumped the gun by missing the sarcasm.

Nailed it.

Cases look great Shadowfox, can't wait to see people's collections all cased up with these.

Well, sorry for derailing the conversation so hard.  This will hopefuly get it back on track.

Ordered 50 cases, got 52.  Couldn't be happier.  And printed out my first test cover.

Also shown is my impressive rip the box open to get the goodies inside skills.

Looking them printed, it doesn't look that bad, forget the border I mentioned in the other thread  :P

AWESOME!!!!  Got my cases in 2 days ago and just got done unpacking and loading them up.  I still have to do all my prints, but they look great and out of 100 that i got, only 3 were crushed during delivery.  I'm good with that ratio.  ;)

My box of cases arrived today!  ;D

So, I haven't been keeping up with TCP except for this thread every few weeks or so... have we started compiling covers for this new dimension yet? If so where are those going?

So that case of 100 gets a LOT heavier once it's full of games  ;D

I decided since I'm moving soon-ish, I would combine the games into their boxes and just put them into storage that way until shenske is finished.  Also took this time to go through all of my games with a q-tip and alcohol and get all the grime off so that they boot the first time, every time (with my toploader at the very least).

100 down, just under 200 to go.  Had some help from a friend today and still was at it for a good 2.5 hours give or take (not that I was particularly going for speed, we were just kinda BSing while we did it)... so far, I have had 1 broken case (spine cracked, which is okay cuz I kinda wanted to try out to see if a Sega STV game could fit in it, so now I don't have to sacrifice an intact case) which, being 1%, is a perfectly fine failure rate in my eyes... more annoyingly though, one of my games is refusing to display video :(  Audio works just fine on it, but no video no matter what I do -- no solid purple as is common with dirty games on a toploader, no blinking (obviously, no lockout chip on a toploader), nothing.  And it's an uncommon game too (Immortal).  Oh well.

I received mine today and am very happy with them. Thanks so much ShadowFox! Do you have any idea how far away your SNES and N64 cases might be? I'm really excited for those!

Time to make some covers now!

Not too bad, making lemonade so to speak  ;D

Another example of how much work i'm putting into these covers. The colors were absolutely faded/off/wrong. The artwork didn't blend from one side to the other and just looks overall ... well dull. I had to look at quite a few different ebay listings and my personal collection to get the colors right. I didn't realize how off they were until i compared to those. Upping the contrast and overall color balance did little to help. I had to cut out quite a few pieces and change the color manually to get the desired result.

I think I speak for everyone when I say (and have said, and will say again): THANK YOU SHENSKE.  Your hard work is appreciated.  We've dumped praise on Shadowfox (and he deserves every bit of it), but I feel we need to dump it on you too.  No one's trying to rush you, we're just all super-eager to see the fruits of your labor.  But patience is a virtue -- we've waited years for cases, we can wait a few more months if necessary for the artwork  ;)
