I'm not sure what to do with the cases, I thought on buying them clear, that way I could have inlays but hearing you guys made me confused and now I don't know which one I one (dark gray or clear)  :P

haha im second guessing myself to.

I pre-ordered the clear to match the UGC.  Then im thinking...well all my sega's will most likely be switched out for clamshells....

then gray would look cool....

and match my game boy cases!

then i still have N64/SNES in clear....

decisions decisions

Lol

Well luckily for me, I only have ps1 on jewel cases, ps2 in their original dark gray cases, and wii on white, all other are loose (nes, snes, n64). So, I can Start from 0 on this, but all you guys made me think if I really want clear with inlays or dark gray.  :P

Like you mention,  decisions,  decisions

The Bad
-- It was requested to see if they can fit a SNES Game Genie:  They cannot, at least not an unmodified SNES Game Genie: it's physically thicker than the case.  If you were to take the front hinged part off of it (like you have to do to store them in a UGC), I imagine they could be modified to fit it, but being that I only have one of these beautiful cases I'm unwilling to try hacking into it.

DRUMROLLL!!!!!

BAM!

LEFT SIDE

RIGHT SIDE

OVERALL

INSERT SNES Game Genie like so (closest to the center of the case)

And BAM!

It does slightly bludge in the center of the case however, On a shelf with other cases you can't even tell.   ;D

They look great on the pictures, maybe a little thick. Can't wait to see them.
Next month I'm going to order 100 grey cases. What Cases would you be
Working on after the genesis? I would like snes next but anything is good.

I’m sorry that this is a little late.  I received my case on Friday, but I was on my way out to travel for the holiday weekend and didn’t get a chance to look it over until tonight.

The good:
•   Build quality is very good.  They feel just as solid as the GB cases and feel like they will stay closed better than a UGC
•   The sleeve is very clean and should show off the TCP covers very well
•   The case holds the game and manual very well.
•   The cases also hold SNES games and manuals (although not as securely)
•   No more case modification!!!

The bad:
•   The case is not exactly the same size as a UGC
o   This will require different sized covers (which is already being worked on)
o   These cases might not look right if mixed in with UGCs (for me this isn’t a problem since I’m going to put all of my NES games in these instead of my original plan to keep my UGC and use these cases going forward)
•   These cases cost a little more than UGCs (for me the extra cost is worth it)

Overall, I’m 100% happy with these cases, and I’m going to put in an order within the next few days.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Do you know if you are going to make the N64 ones the exact same dimensions?  I need to start editing the 296 white verts in preperation for these and it would be nice to know dimensions so I could start sooner.

I`d imagine so due to manual size.

I think he mentioned one time that it was going to be the same, the only thing that will change is the cartridge holders on the inside

I don't see why manual size would change anything.  SNES and N64 manuals are the same size and it looks like that Super Gameboy Manual up there fits just find.

So does anyone have dimensions on these things in millimeters?

I got my black prototype in. I'll go in depth later today, I'm messing around with other systems and such.

One big thing I'll say now is I'd go for a matte instead of glossy plastic, this thing attracts fingerprints and scratches very easily.

Ok, pictures soon but another big issue.

SNES, N64 and other manuals that size are very difficult to remove from the clips, due to the right wall in the manual area, there is no easy way to get under the manual to pull it out.

Would it help if one stores manuals "wrong way" as in spine out of the clips unlike normally spine under the clips?

Just let the manual hang by tilting the case. Grab it that way. I personally love that the manuals basically have a little compartment for them.
