New NES cases (work in progress)

Very much hoping to see that priority board. But I have heard Genesis retail perfect ones and Sega CD/Saturn cases are pretty much a go.

While minor in the grand scheme of things, I hope ShadowFox can still make the double-thick GB cases soon. The only glaring hole in that collection on my shelf are the 10 or so rumble games, accessories and WarioWare Twisted that would need such a case. I imagine that's one of the easier case designs, since it's just modifying the existing GB design.

Realistically, that's probably a long ways off.  It's not too difficult to make a double or triple DS case using Wiggy's double UGC method which he has a YouTube video for.  If it were me, I would do that and close those gaps up.

Working on some covers for the New NES Template, and while work is admittedly slow on them (not to mention I don't have many to go off of). But whenever the final dimensions come out, I will be adding those New NES covers with these new specs if anyone is interested.

I'm just going through my personal collection right now, but plan to go back and muddle my way through more

Well last night I finally started casing up my Atari 5200 games that I bought in that HUGE game lot about a year ago.  Atari 5200 games require modification to fit in UGCs.  Since I didn't feel like modifiying any more cases, I took out a bunch of NES games out of their already modified UGCs.  So now my NES games (about half of them right now) are sitting naked.  I'm only doing this because I'm hoping we will have the new NES cases sometime soon.  I still have faith that this will happen.  And the nice thing is that my already modified UGCs will not go wasted since I have so many more games that required modified cases.  The Fairchild Channel F games also require modification.  I just need to get covers made for those first.

Yeah, the idea of modifying another 30 cases or so just makes my hands hurt.

I'm just glad ShadowFox made his GBA cases... I've been scarred (literally) from modifying DS cases (damn you bubble in the soft plastic which caused my xcato knife to jump!).
As a result of the injury my wife had/has banned me from modifying cases for "silly games".

You might goof up your first case getting the hang of it, but it's much easier than end nippers.

I did this once with the multitool and my girlfriend laughed at me injuring myself over my nerd project.
