So not a HUGE update, but this morning the factory and I struck a deal! We will be re-creating the NES mould and I should have the cases samples within 3 weeks  :) I will let ya'll know when I get new information.

so what changes ended up going into this mould compared to the originals you sent out?

Shadowfox:

So this was the NEW design.

1.) The cases spine needs only 2MM more in thickness and will be perfect.

2.) Case Closing Clips: Since these clips are so small we are going with 4 of them.

3.) The center of the top booklet clip on the left side of the cases needs to be 13MM from the
inside edge of the bottom of the case. Also, once this has been changed,
the bottom booklet clip needs to be moved as well to keep the proper ratio
with the newly moved top booklet clip.

4.) Top Game Cart Holding Clips: When you place a game cart into the case on the top right holding clip rests over the
game carts label and when you pull out the game it scratches the label making a mark sometimes. Along with this
issue the holding clips seem to hold the games a little too tightly. We are going to move the 2 top game cart holding
clips from the top of the frame to either side of the holding frame. Moving away from the game labels as well as making
the game cart a little easier pulling out of the case.

5.) Cases Structure: Since the existing cases seems flimsy, and on top
of that, the cases are hard to align to close! The top part of the case over
shoots and completely misses the bottom clip to snap the case close. So we are going to have the case's structure much like
the GBGBCGBA case's mould. With the Tongue and Groove method. This will give the top
and bottom of the case a strong, solid feel and also allow the case to be easily closed by the guidance to the tongue and groove.

6.) Moving the booklet clips inward as well as the NES
case's right side items inward, allowing a supporting bar to be created to
support the case and improve the alignment of the case. This item is kind
of hard to explain. (Photo worth 1000 words) There are a few items going on here. i: Creating a supporting bar
going top to bottom of the case and both the left and right sides of the
case. ii: Moving the booklet clips inward creating room for this
supporting bar while not hindering the use of the booklet clips.
iii:Moving all the items in the right hand section of the case no more than
3MMs to the left, allowing the creation of the supporting bar.

annnnnddd..... TA DA! NES case 2.0!
