I know.... I've been promised and promised to get numbers from the USA factory...... and they swear tomorrow morning to give me everything. At this moment If I want to fix the small minor items on the NES cases I am going to have to re-buy the mould and basically double my cost on the mould end.  :-\  :-X  :'(

I am prepared to do it if I can't get this other end working. We are going to make these cases and they are going to be perfect. I'm not okay with making a case and STILL have small issues with it.

The nice thing is that Christmas just passed and I got several orders in, allowing me to sock away some of the money I'll need to re-buy the mould.

I piece of me wants to say screw it! And just order the NES cases in "AS-IS" but at the end of the day they are not what I had envisioned.

Thank you all for being so patient, and believe me, these cases are all that have been on my mind as of late. Thankfully, once they are out the rest of the cases will be very easy to pull off as well.

If I get information tomorrow I'll be sure to post and update. :)

I'm always down for quality cases > speed and quantity. Means more people would buy and therefore we are one step closer to duplicate Genesis Cases  ;D

So.... it only took them 4 weeks to get me my quote for USA made mould and cases....

And the mould cost is almost TRIPLE what I have paid.....

Hopefully in the next hour I will have the price per unit cost. (Maybe I can get the moulds overseas and run the product here in the States)

To make a long story even longer.... I'm more than likely going to re-create the NES mould  :'( I am going to addanother NEW features though!

I've had a TON of people ask about dust covers, so I figured if I'm going to spend another $10,000 on fixing this mould I might as well get EXACTLY what we need/ want.  :)

Perforated allowing an easy clean break to hold the game cart with dust cover

I didn't know I wanted this feature until now.

I would be very interested to see someone review and compare those repro Sega clamshells.

I'm also curious if there's still the possibility of Shadowfox making double-thick GB cases for rumble games, WarioWare Twisted, some acceasories like paddle controllers and GameSharks.

Oh! I got my 10 SEGA clamshells in today...  ;D I should make a new thread about my review. Basically, I'm not concerned about them, they ended up cutting corners and using inferior sleeves and plastic. The clips are a bit bigger and they added a few minor additions. If anyone wants me to ship one to them to make their own review just send me a PM.

Yes please.   Also, can you give a revised best guess on when your sega clamshells would be ready?

I'm sad because this means it'll take longer for my preorder to finally come through.  But I'm happy because it means the product I will receive will be even more perfect.

I'M SO INTERNALLY CONFLICTED!!!!1111ONE

;)  All kidding aside Shadowfox, keep being awesome.  I know you'll deliver a top-notch product when it comes out, so I have no worries.
