I can't decide between the top-loader or the Analogue. I know all the lash the Nt gets, but it's a complete out-of-the-box solution for both NES and Famicom, whereas buying both CIB and then paying to get them both modded would be almost the same.

If they had incorporated FDS into the Analogue, I would have considered it.  I can't believe no one has come up with some type of clone system for the FDS.

And yes, I'm aware that the FDS can be used WITH the Analogue, but I'm talking about FDS support built into the system itself.

The AVS is the solution. Hardware emulation on a FPGA. Hopefully Bunny will release it early next year, I'm not playing my NES games until it arrives. Follow the journey of the project, from a mod that would give you HDMI out on your NES to a "new" 8-bit console, on:

*Jaw dropped* I have never heard about this..... that looks amazing!  :o

Update! Still battling with the factory, working on a compromise, in the mean time...... I might..... MIGHT.....have some pretty awesome news.  ;) I had a meeting here in Las Vegas with a local plastic factory about these cases (as well as the Gameboy cases) they are going to give me some pricing and see if we can come to an agreement. I don't have ANYTHING at this moment, but if.... IF we are able to make this work NES cases will be coming extremely fast and there would virtually be no lead time needed (No shipping, customs, boat ride) I could get the product within 2-3 business days once they are ran.

I'm really hoping to strike a deal, this would also make these cases USA made which would help with shipping massive amounts to Canada with the North America Free Trade Agreement.  Blah, blah, blah.... I know this is not the news we are all waiting for but DANG! This might turbo charge all the other case moulds. (It would mean no more e-mails at night going back and forth for weeks, but just 1,2, or even 5 meetings in person and nail it) ..... Mwahahahaha  8)

Yeah, I've heard of bunnyboy's HDMI NES, but I'm not 100% interested as it leaves out Zapper titles. I know it's not a lot of titles but I love Duck Hunt.

Also, that's fantastic news about the Las Vegas talk! If it works out I wouldn't mind waiting a bit more

Unless you're gonna get the top loader modded, just get an AV Fami and an adapter. Otherwise you're stuck with RF output only :-\

Definitely zero reason to get both an NES and Famicom with decent and cheap adapters so readily available.
