And yes, they will still hold the SNES carts (They will not clip in)  :)

Shadow. Looking at the new prototype pictures it seems like a longer / wider DS case. Unlike the previous prototype which look like an old VHS case. Is this correct ? Also does it have the small outer lip like the original prototype?

I'm liking what I'm seeing in the new revised design. I think it's smart to leave in the ability for SNES games to fit - I think you might just double potential sales if it can hold both NES and SNES. And if it's universally loved, you could just skip even having an SNES-only case at all.  ;)

All thanks to me not having any NES covers, and substituting a SNES cover.  ;D

Sheeee-it

Might have to throw on another 100 to my preorder to handle my SNES carts too if this is shaping up to be the official NES/SNES case...

Got the cases today.

On general level they are acceptable.

Yes opening and closing the case could be better -> But I'm not doing that constantly, so no biggie.
Same applys to the cart holding part.

SNES manuals fit nicely which is super important for me.

For us who mostly use these just as pretty way of keeping the carts on the shelf, these do the job.
But for those that constantly open and close the cases and use the games these might scratch the games and break (especially the tabs that hold the carts in place on the top.

@Shadowfox: Sell these first for the people who mostly just store.
Then when you have recouped your money do overhaul of the design to resemple double wide DVD cases in the closing opening and over all quality.

Do you still plan on making an SNES-specific case? I hope this case is not your final solution for SNES games. :P

I'd like to pre-order around 70 cases. It's rather expensive with shipping fees to Finland (which equal more than the cases btw  :( ). I thought the shipping was included and I believe someone mentioned this problem earlier. Why has this not been fixed yet? Another question, if I pre-order now, will I get revised cases (with the top tabs on the side) rather than the prototype ones. I'm asking just in case you have many prototypes waiting to be sold away.

Prototypes are prototypes = Not many made.

He will order the cases after the design is finalized, so the cases you'll get will be the final design ones.

Ja jep postarit tappaa tän toistaiseksi.

Kiitti Arseen. Just wanted to make sure. I recall someone asking about shipping fees and Shadowfox answering something like "give me an hour and I'll fix that":

OPPPPPPPPPP!!!!! I GOTTA FIX THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is something on MY END give me about an hour and it should be fixed!  :o

So I just wanted to make sure before ordering if this actually had been fixed yet or not. Dropping the postage fees saves me a lot of money which I can use for more cases and games.

@Shadowfox, can you give us an estimate when this would be fixed? Can you also tell why it has been taking you a little longer than just an hour to do this? I thought it was due to a simple problem with your website but agues it is something else.

OK, so now all the regions for the pre-orders actually have shipping cost included.

I need to go back and readjust the shipping tables on the GBGBCGBA cases. I loose money from the shipping difference. (Basically, the actual shipping cost me more than I charge, only outside the US)
