August 2014 stuff we gots

Went yard sale shopping today. Gave my number to a few people who are going to pull some stuff out of sheds for me and call me back (yay for old games).

Here's my bounty so far! About 100 Nintendo Power mags, some of them I already have, but he sold the whole lot for $10 to me after I talked with him a bit and told him about how I read and archive them, so they'd be going to a great home.

Also picked up a PS3 PS Move charging cradle and two Wii controllers.

Overall spendature so far: $20

Only thing I now dread: Comparing what I picked up to my tick sheet and archiving the ones I don't have. Time consuming.

Currently at 79.3% completion rate on Nintendo Power. I also have a box of 22 dups that can be traded or sold.

I'm sure we could help each other out! I actually have a complete set, though perhaps one or two issues could use an upgrade. I am missing a few inserts, like the Super Power Supplies Catalogs. I am certainly looking to upgrade a few Official Nintendo Player's Guides, which I also collect,, if you ever happen to run across any of those. I will post a more complete list when I return home after the weekend.

Picked up a Game Gear for $8 on EBay, needing a cap replacement done, so I bought a set and now have a project. Never really soldered before, so fun little project and worst case, I'm out $20 or so for the console and cap kit.

The game gear also came with a copy of Sonic 2, which gives me two copies now as well as a case to store the console in (not pictured).

The N64 games, I went to a local swapmeet and spent $5 a game. $8 for Diddy Kong Racing.

Also got my JFJ Easy Pro in the mail today! Woohoo!
